# What are achievement chips?

Achievement chips are badges recognising what a customer has done across Fidella. Visiting lots of different venues. Coming back week after week. Sending gifts. Joining a venue early. They are recognition only and cannot be spent.

Chips sit alongside tiers as the lighter half of the status system.

## The five

Explorer counts distinct venues a customer has transacted at, levelling at 3, 5
and 6 by default. Streak counts consecutive weeks with at least one transaction,
at 4, 8 and 12. Gifter counts gifts sent, at 3, 10 and 25. Founder is earned by
being among the first at a venue, within 30 days of it joining. Supporter shows
lifetime spend.

## Not currency

Chips are recognition. They are not spendable, and a venue cannot configure or
issue them.
