# What is a purchased offer?

A purchased offer is one a customer pays for. Payment is captured up front and the voucher is issued only after a successful capture. A venue must pass Fidella's readiness checks before purchased offers can be sold to customers.

The paid half of the catalogue. A customer pays now and redeems later.

## Payment first, always

There is no reserve-and-pay-later path and no way for an administrator to mint a
voucher outside the purchase flow. A voucher exists because a payment succeeded.

## Selling requires readiness

First you have to pass a few checks. We need your country to be one we support. Your legal name and business number.
Your bank details. A contact address somebody reads. And a loyalty programme
that is switched on.
