# What is the universal member card?

The universal member card is a customer's single identity across every Fidella venue. One account, one QR code, recognised everywhere in the network. It carries the Fidella tier. The wallet pass is how that card gets installed on a phone, not a separate card.

A customer joins once and is then a member everywhere on the network. They do
not carry a separate card per venue.

## Card and pass are not two things

The member card is the identity. The wallet pass is that identity installed in
Apple Wallet or Google Wallet so it can be produced at a counter. A customer
without a wallet pass still has a member card; they just open it in the app
instead.

## What each venue sees

A venue sees the loyalty relationship the customer has with that venue. The
single identity is what makes the network work; it is not a shared view of a
customer's activity everywhere.
