# How do I accept an invitation to join a team?

Open Fidella and tap Accept on the invitation banner. It appears on every screen once you are signed in, so you do not need the emailed link. If a banner asks you to confirm your email address, confirm it and the invitation appears. If you see neither, the invitation went to an address you do not sign in with.

An invitation belongs to you, not to the email you were sent.

## You do not need the emailed link

The link is only a shortcut. Once you are signed in with the invited address,
Fidella finds the invitation itself and shows a banner offering to accept it.
That banner follows you across the app. It is there whether you are on your home
screen, on the scan screen for a venue you already work at, or deep in an admin
section.

## Working at more than one venue

Accept on the account you already use. Your venues sit side by side on one
account, and accepting a second one does not change the one you already have.

## If nothing appears

The invitation is matched to the confirmed email address on your account, and
the match has to be exact. A different address means no invitation banner, and
nothing you can do inside the app will change that. Ask the venue to invite the
address you actually sign in with.

An address you have not confirmed yet is a different case, and the app says so.
You will see a banner asking you to confirm your address, with a button to send
the confirmation link again. Confirm it and the invitation appears.

Open the link in the invitation email instead. That link knows which invitation
you mean, so it can say what the banner cannot. If your address simply needs
confirming, it names the venue and offers you a way straight back in. That way
opens once you have read the confirmation email Fidella sent when you signed up. If the
invitation went to an address you do not sign in with, ask the venue to reissue
it to the right one.
