Vouchers

My voucher approval request expired or was cancelled

Both are final states. An expired request timed out before you approved it; a cancelled one was withdrawn. Nothing was redeemed in either case. Ask the venue to start the redemption again.

Seeing a final state on a request you meant to approve is frustrating, and it is also the system working correctly.

Nothing was spent

No value moved. When staff start a redemption, your approval is what completes it, and this one was never approved.

If you would rather not wait on a prompt next time, open the voucher in Fidella and show its own code instead. Showing it is your approval, so there is nothing to wait for.

Why it cannot be revived

A prompt that could be approved much later is a prompt that could be approved by accident, or at the wrong counter. Making the state final keeps the decision tied to the moment it was asked.

Starting again

Ask staff to scan you again. It takes seconds.

Common questions

Did I lose the voucher?

No. Nothing is redeemed unless you approve it, so the voucher is still yours.

Can I approve it from that screen now?

No. Expired and cancelled requests are final and non-actionable by design, so nobody acts on a stale prompt. The venue starts a fresh one.

Still stuck?

Send us the details and we will pick it up. The form opens with "Vouchers" already selected.
