Business account
How do I correct an inventory mistake?
Use the stock adjustment option. It asks you to write a short note saying why. Every change is recorded, so there is no way to alter your stock numbers without leaving a trace.
Every stock correction is recorded, which is what makes your sales numbers something you can stand behind.
The normal way
Use the stock adjustment option and write a short note. This frees up or corrects stock that was already used.
The exception
Going past the limit is something only Fidella can do, and it also needs a note.
Why not just type in a new number
Because a number somebody typed over cannot be checked. A list of recorded changes can be added up again when someone asks how many you really sold.
Common questions
Why do I have to write a note?
So that anyone looking later can tell why the number changed. We review these.
My adjustment was refused.
Adjustments cannot take a total below zero. If you genuinely need to go outside that, Fidella has to do it for you.
