What is a multi-use voucher?
A multi-use voucher can be redeemed more than once. It carries a count of remaining uses that decrements on each redemption, and it leaves the customer's active list when that count reaches zero. A five-visit pack is the common example.
Not every voucher is single-shot. A pack sold as five sessions is one voucher with five uses, not five vouchers.
Partial use does not duplicate
A partly used voucher stays a single tile in the customer’s wallet showing the uses left. Identical vouchers held more than once collapse into one tile with a count, so a wallet does not fill up with repeats.
One showing is one use
Showing the voucher’s own code redeems a single use, however many are left on it. A customer who wants to use two shows the voucher again after the first, and staff have no way to raise that number on their side.
Staff who start the redemption themselves can redeem more than one at a time, and the customer is asked to approve that on their phone before anything happens.
