Glossary

What is XP in Fidella?

XP is the internal score Fidella calculates from loyalty activity, breadth across venues, and spend. It feeds the nightly Fidella tier calculation. Customers can see it as supporting context, but the Fidella tier is the status that actually counts.

Also called: Experience points.

XP is scoring infrastructure rather than a customer-facing promise.

What it is for

XP accumulates from loyalty activity, from how many different venues a customer uses, and from spend. A nightly job turns XP into a Fidella tier.

Why it is not the headline

Tier is the canonical status field, and XP is deliberately kept as supporting context. A visible points score invites customers to treat it as a contract, which it is not: the weighting is tuned centrally and the cutoffs move.
