Why did my offer unpublish itself?
Because you edited it. Editing a published offer automatically returns it to draft and records a workflow event. Price, inventory and copy changes need to be published again before customers see them.
Not a fault. A guard.
What it prevents
A price or inventory change reaching customers without anybody seeing it go out.
Existing vouchers are unaffected
Offers and vouchers have separate lifecycles. Withdrawing the listing does not touch what customers already hold.
Common questions
Does that invalidate vouchers already issued?
No. An offer can be withdrawn from sale while vouchers issued against it stay valid and redeemable.
I only changed a typo.
The rule does not distinguish. Republish and it is live again.
