How do I install Fidella on my phone?
Fidella is a web app, so there is nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your home screen from your browser and it opens full screen like any other app. On first sign-in you may be prompted to do exactly that.
There is no download, and that is a design decision rather than an omission.
Why a web app
A customer at a counter with thirty seconds to spare will not install an app. They will scan a code. Removing the install step is what makes joining at the till realistic.
Installing anyway
Adding Fidella to your home screen gives you the app-like experience: an icon, full screen, and one tap to open.
Common questions
Why is there no app in the App Store?
Fidella runs in the browser deliberately. Nothing to download means a customer can join at a counter in under a minute, which is the whole point of the signup code.
Do I have to install it?
No. Everything works in the browser. Installing just makes it quicker to open.
