Wallet pass
My wallet pass looks out of date
Open the pass with your screen on and give it a few seconds to refresh. If it still looks wrong, go to the wallet page in Fidella and re-add or refresh the pass from there. Your loyalty state in the app is always the source of truth; the pass is a copy that catches up.
A pass that has been sitting unopened for a while can fall behind. This is expected rather than a fault.
The app is the truth
Your loyalty state and what you hold live in Fidella. The wallet pass is a copy that syncs. If the two disagree, believe the app.
Refreshing
Opening the pass with the screen on and a connection is usually enough. If not, re-adding from Fidella’s wallet page replaces it with a current copy of the same universal pass.
The fallback that always works
Your six-character code. It does not rotate and staff can look you up with it.
Common questions
Staff said my pass would not scan.
That usually means the pass barcode is stale. Staff should recover with your six-character code or a manual lookup rather than showing a success they cannot deliver, and you can refresh the pass afterwards.
Why does Apple lag behind Android?
Google Wallet computes its rotating code on the device. Apple refreshes the pass in the background instead, and phones throttle background refreshes, so an unopened Apple pass can sit behind.
