Vouchers
Someone sent me a voucher. How do I get it?
If the email it was sent to already belongs to a Fidella account, the voucher is attached immediately and is in your wallet now. If not, it is held against that email address and attaches automatically the first time you sign in with it.
Gifted vouchers are delivered to an identity rather than to a code, which is what makes losing the email harmless.
If you already have an account
It is already yours. Open Wallet and it will be there, along with the venue appearing in your memberships.
If you do not
The voucher is held against the email address it was sent to. Create an account with that same address and it attaches on your first sign-in.
The venue will appear in your list
Holding a voucher for a business makes it one of your memberships, so it will show even with zero stamps.
Common questions
I signed up with a different email. Where is it?
It is waiting on the address it was sent to. Sign in with that address, or ask the sender which one they used.
Do I need a code from the sender?
No. There is no reusable claim code for vouchers. Delivery is to your Fidella identity.
Will I get an email about it?
Yes, unless you have turned email notifications off. It says who sent it, or Someone if they chose to stay anonymous. It shows the date the voucher expires, if it has one, and how to use it. It does not say what the voucher is, so the gift stays a surprise.
A venue gave me a voucher. Do I get an email for that too?
Yes. When a venue gives you a free voucher, sends you a welcome voucher for joining, or a visit unlocks one, we email you with the voucher, the date it expires if it has one, and how to use it.
Does my voucher expire?
It can. The venue that issued it decides, and that includes vouchers someone paid for. If it has an expiry date, you will see it on the voucher in Fidella and near the top of the email telling you it arrived. Fidella also reminds you about a week before it expires, and again when a day or so is left. After that date the voucher can no longer be used.
I deleted the email. Have I lost it?
No. Once attached, the voucher lives in your Fidella account. Losing the email does not affect your ability to redeem.
