What is a confirmed email address?
A confirmed email address is one you have proven is yours by opening the link Fidella emailed you. Until you do, Fidella will not match anything addressed to that email to your account, so team invitations and value sent to you stay out of reach.
Signing up with an address is a claim. Opening the link is the proof.
Why the distinction matters
Anything matched to a person by their email rather than by their account depends on it. A venue invites a staff member by address, and one person sends value to another by address. If an unproven claim were enough, whoever typed the address first would receive what was meant for its real owner.
Sign-ins that arrive confirmed
Signing in with Google or Apple confirms the address on their side, so those accounts never need to do anything further.
