What are loyalty rules?

Loyalty rules are the settings behind a venue's programme: whether it runs on stamps or points, what earns credit, and how much a customer needs for a reward. Fidella shows these rules but does not set them. Every venue sets its own.

Loyalty rules are where a venue’s programme actually lives. Two venues running on the same platform can feel like completely different schemes because their rules differ.

What the rules cover

The earning mode, stamps or points, which are mutually exclusive. What qualifies for earning. The threshold at which a reward unlocks. Configuring loyalty rules is one of the five setup steps required before a venue goes live.

Set by the venue, not the platform

The business designs its own programme. Fidella renders the rules and enforces them consistently at the counter, but the numbers are the merchant’s decision and the merchant’s commercial risk.
