What is a transaction in Fidella?
A transaction is a recorded loyalty event at a venue: stamps earned, points added, a reward redeemed. It is not the same as the till sale. Transactions are what venue analytics count and what determines whether a customer counts as active for billing.
A Fidella transaction records something happening to a loyalty position. It happens alongside a sale rather than instead of one.
Not your point of sale
Fidella does not take the payment for a coffee. It records that the coffee earned a stamp. Your till remains the record of the money.
Why the distinction matters for billing
Billing counts customers with at least one recorded event in the month. A customer who bought something but was never scanned generated no transaction and does not count.
