Fidella

Glossary

What is a held payout?

A held payout is money a merchant has earned that Fidella cannot yet transfer, almost always because no payout account is connected. It is reported back to the merchant as an amount, so the sum waiting is visible rather than invisible.

Held is not lost. It is earned money waiting for somewhere to go.

Why it is shown as a number

Before it was surfaced, the only signal a merchant had was nothing at all. An amount is a much better prompt than silence.

Clearing it

Complete Connect. The settlements that could not transfer are then payable through the normal route.
