What is a payout?
A payout is us moving money into your bank account. It is the last step. First we work out what you are owed, then we pay it. If you have not connected your bank details there is nowhere to send it, so we hold it for you.
Settlement decides the number. Payout moves it.
Net, not gross
What lands is already net of the card-processing passthrough and the platform transaction fee. The breakdown is visible, so the arithmetic is checkable.
No account, no payout
Money that cannot be transferred is held and reported as an amount, not lost.
