What is the Fidella transaction fee?
This is a percentage of what customers redeem, and we take it out of the money we pay you rather than charging you for it. It never appears on your monthly invoice. It is also separate from the cost of processing the card.
The fee that funds the platform, and the one most often confused with the subscription.
Netted, not billed
You never receive an invoice for it. We take it out of what you are owed before the money reaches you. That is why your payments page shows the full amount and the amount paid out, rather than one number.
Not your card processing
Card-processing cost is a separate thing with its own handling. The platform fee is Fidella’s margin and does not recover processing cost.
How the rate is set
There is a standard rate, and a venue can have its own. Whichever applies to you is the one used. You can see your rate but not change it.
Common questions
When am I charged it?
You are not charged it. It is deducted at settlement, so what you receive is already net of it.
Can I see my rate?
Yes. It is on your billing page and next to your settlement breakdown. You can see it but not change it.
