What does listing blocked mean?

This answers one question: can the public see this business at all? When it is on, everything is hidden, free and paid alike, and you cannot publish anything. It happens when a venue is waiting for review, has been paused, or has been turned down.

Fidella has two gates and they answer different questions. Conflating them produces incorrect and damaging merchant-facing copy, so this pair is worth learning properly.

The question it answers

Does this business exist publicly? If listing is blocked, no.

Total, not partial

This gate hides everything: the venue page, free offers, promotions, search results and the directory. It also blocks publishing in the first place.

The other gate

Sales blocked is narrower and only applies to a venue that is already listed. A venue can be perfectly visible and still unable to take money.
