What is a signup QR code?
A signup QR is your own code, printed and put out in your venue, that a customer scans to join your programme. It is not the same as a customer's code. Yours belongs to the business and signs people up. Theirs identifies a person who has already joined.
Two kinds of QR code exist in Fidella and they point in opposite directions. The signup code is the business advertising itself. The customer code is a person identifying themselves.
No app install
Scanning the signup code opens Fidella in the phone’s browser. Adding a wallet pass comes later and is optional, though most people do it.
Configuring it is a required step
Generating and placing the signup code is one of the five sections a venue completes before going live, alongside the business profile, contact details, loyalty rules and branding.
