Trust and safety
Account states, listing and sales blocks, and how disputes are handled.
-
Account states and visibility
A venue is provisioned into review, becomes active on approval, and can later be suspended if the subscription ends. Only active venues are publicly visible. A suspended venue keeps its data; the loyalty programme stops accruing and customers keep their own accounts.
-
Disputes and chargebacks
A chargeback is a card issuer reversing a payment at the cardholder's request. Recovery nets against future payouts. If too many customers dispute payments, a venue can be paused automatically, and Fidella then reviews it.
-
Data retention
Fidella retains a suspended venue's data through a cold-retention window, then anonymises the business identity. A suspended venue with money still owed to it is deliberately skipped, because anonymising your contact details would make a payable debt unreachable.
