Signup QR

The signup QR code

Your signup QR is the venue's own code, generated for you, that turns a walk-in into a member. It points at your public venue page. It is not the same as a customer's QR code, which identifies a person who is already a member.

Two kinds of QR code exist and they point in opposite directions.

Yours advertises you

The signup code belongs to your venue. Scanning it takes a customer to your public venue page and into signup with your venue’s context attached, so they land as a member of your programme.

Theirs identifies them

A customer’s code identifies a person. Staff scan that at the counter to earn and redeem.

It is stable

The code carries your venue’s public identifier, which does not change when your name, logo or details do.

Common questions

Do I need a new code if I change my name or branding?

No. The code encodes your venue's stable public identifier, not your name, so printed material keeps working.

Does a customer need to install anything?

No. Scanning opens Fidella in their browser.

Still stuck?

Send us the details and we will pick it up. The form opens with "Business account" already selected.
