Billing

Transaction fees and settlement

This is a percentage of what your customers redeem. We take it out of the money we pay you, rather than charging you for it, so it never appears on your invoice. It is separate from the cost of processing the card.

Two money flows, in opposite directions. This one runs towards you.

The order of operations

Gross value, then the card-processing passthrough, then our fee at your rate, then what is paid out to you. You see the breakdown rather than a single figure.

Not your card processing

The platform fee is Fidella’s margin. It does not recover card-processing cost, which is handled separately.

Where to find your rate

Your rate is on your billing page and next to your settlement breakdown. There is a standard rate, and your venue may have its own. Whichever applies to you is the one used.

Common questions

Where do I see my rate?

On your billing page, and next to your settlement breakdown. There is a standard rate, and your venue may have its own.

Can I change my rate?

No. You can see your rate but not change it.

Why is it not on my invoice?

Because it is deducted from money owed to you rather than charged to you. Putting it on the invoice as well would double-count it.
