Team access
Roles and permissions
Site admins run the venue: rules, branding, catalogue, team and billing. Staff work the counter and cannot change any of those. Permissions are scoped to one venue, so being an admin at one site does not grant admin powers at another.
Two roles at a venue, plus the platform role that is not yours.
Site admin
Everything about how your venue runs. Admins keep full access implicitly rather than through a togglable permission.
Staff
Counter work: scanning customers, adding stamps and points, redeeming rewards, handling vouchers. Every action is attributed to them and traceable to the scan it came from, and per-scan caps are enforced on the server rather than only in their app.
Scoping
Permissions belong to a venue. Somebody who is admin at one of your sites and staff at another gets admin powers only at the first.
Common questions
Can I give a staff member partial admin rights?
Non-admin staff can be delegated offer management. Finance-sensitive controls stay admin-only.
Can I remove myself as admin?
No. Admins cannot deactivate or remove themselves through the roster, which prevents a venue locking itself out.
